Nursery Staff - Looby Loos - Holmfirth
Care at Looby Loos Nursery is provided by experienced and qualified staff. At all times the OFSTED ratio of adults to children are well maintained with the Nursery Manager being supernumery. We recruit staff, not only on the basis of their qualifications, professionalism and experience, but also for their personal qualities. We look for enthusiasm, dedication, team working, maturity and a genuine love of children. We are proud of our exceptionally low staff turnover and many of our staff have over 10 years service with Looby Loos.
In addition to the proprietor we have a Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager and Senior Practitioners both full and part time including 2 Cooks. Each room has Senior Team Leader who are permanent to that room and they are responsible for ensuring that planning is completed, good team work exists and the room runs smoothly and efficiently and the needs of the children are adhered to always. Our full time staff are usually allocated to one particular room to ensure familiarity and consistency for the children and parents. Part time staff where possible are allocated to a room although they may be ‘floated’ where the needs arise. The nursery is committed to the ongoing training and development of staff.
